What do Pure Chat customers need to do if they have EU customers or are based in the EU?

1. Read though the GDPR and document how you will collect and manage your customer data.

2. Update Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to explain to your customers how and why Pure Chat is used on your website.

3. Make any necessary process changes to comply with these new laws.

4. Read though and understand our Data Processing Agreement.

How Pure Chat is complying with GDPR

Things we have always done:

• Clearly defined why and how we collect and use data in our privacy policy
• Provide in-app mechanism to turn on/off visitor information collection from your website
• We don't sell visitor data to any 3rd parties
• We consider all customer data belongs to our customer, not us

Features completed May 4th, 2018:

• Delete Contact — Complete deletion of a contact from our database
• Delete Chat Transcript — Complete deletion of chat transcript from your account
• Delete All Users, Contacts, Transcripts and Cancel Account — We provide a way to "wipe" all data that has been collected by your website from your visitors
